Yolande Jessome

Ms Jessome worked for about fifteen years in the field of human resources, recruting office staff for a shipping company and as coordinator of training programs or an accounting firm.

She is the mother of two children, a daughter and a son who has an intellectuel disability.  Throughout her children's school years, she was a member of the elementary and secondary Governing boards at the Riverside School board.  She participated in the Advisory Committee for Students with Special Needs (ACSSSN) and was a member of the Board of Directors of Adam's PACE Program at Champlain College.

She joined the Special Olympics Quebec movement in 2004 and is very involved as a volunteer in both summer and winter sports.
